About the event

Create your own unique charcuterie/cheese board to use for entertaining or to give as a thoughtful and unique gift. Learn the technique of working with slabs and how to ensure your final product comes out flat and ready for some tasty treats! Each participant will receive a prepped slab of clay to use to create their board. Participants will learn how to inlay textures and patterns before choosing one to apply to their slab. A variety of stencils will be available to use for determining the shape of your board OR you can design it on your own as you go! Charcuterie/cheese boards will max out at ~12-13" at their longest dimension BEFORE firing.

This workshop is best suited for beginners and those ages 14+. Please bring a towel to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel. Food is not permitted in River Ceramics Studio. Drinks with closed lids are allowed. Projects will be ready for glazing 2-3 weeks post workshop. An email with a link to book your glazing time will be sent as soon as projects are out of the kiln.
